How to Create a Restore point in windows10: Restore point is a key feature in Windows for system protection. It’s important to create a restore point before making any system-level changes. It will help you to restore back your system to the previous (restore point) state.

Method 1: search for Create a restore point

  1. search for Create a restore point from the taskbar and select it from the search of results. 

2. On the system properties Window select on system protection tab. Select your computer system drive(Normally C drive) and check whether the create button is enabled or disabled. 3. Give a description for the restore point.

4. Click create

 

Method 2: using “sysdm.cpl” command

  1. Enter “sysdm.cpl” in the Run dialog box (For how to access run dialog box, Click here…)

2. On the system properties Window select on system protection tab. Select your computer system drive(Normally C drive) and check whether the create button is enabled or disabled. If it’s disabled you need to enable restore point. (For how to enable restore point, click here…). If it’s enabled you can click on create button

3. Give a description for the restore point.

4. Click create

 

Method 3: Accessing through control Panel

  1. Open start menu, search for control panel from the taskbar and select it from the search of results

2. On the Control Panel, click system then choose system protection

3. On the system properties Window select on system protection tab. Select your computer system drive(Normally C drive) and check whether the create button is enabled or disabled. 4. Give a description for the restore point.

5. Click create
